South African soprano, winner of the 2009 Kathleen Ferrier Award, she studied at the Benjamin Britten International Opera School and was a participant in the 2011 Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project. Her operatic engagements include Countess (Le nozze di Figaro, Glyndebourne, Savonnlina Festival, ENO, Palm Beach Opera, Opéra de Dijon, Opéra-Théâtre de Saint-Étienne, National Theatre of Bahrain), Micaëla (Carmen, Deutsche Oper, Berlin, Teatro São Carlos, Lisbon), Antonia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Semperoper Dresden), Desdemona (Otello, Cape Town Opera), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte, Opéra de Nice), etc. In concert, she has appeared with numerous prestigious orchestras like the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London and Israel Philharmonic Orchestras, Mozarteum Orchestra and Orchestre National de Lyon under the baton of many notable conductors including Sir Andrew Davis, Bernard Haitink, Sir Roger Norrington, Vasily Petrenko, Andris Nelsons, Edward Gardner, Iván Fischer, Kurt Masur, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, etc. // Last update:
