Soloist, Tenor
One of the most accomplished operatic tenors of the new generation of Italian artists. He completed his musical studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin where he studied with Luciano Pavarotti and went on to win the Spoleto International Opera Competition (2005). His operatic engagements include the title roles of Don Carlo, Stiffelio,
Samson et Dalila and Reyer’s Sigurd, as well as Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca), Rodolfo (La bohème), Radamès (Aida), Loris Ipanov (Fedora), Števa / Laca (Jenůfa), Riccardo / Gustavo (Un ballo in maschera), Pollione (Norma), Giasone (Medea) and Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) at such houses as the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden, London), Grand Théâtre de Genève, Royal Swedish Opera, Bolshoi Theatre, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Vienna State Opera, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro Regio in Parma, Rome Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Hamburg State Opera, Teatro alla Scala, National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Canadian Opera Company and Savonlinna Opera Festival. He features on the Royal Opera House’s DVD release
