Italian baritone, he studied at the Conservatorio di Sassari, Sardinia. Ηe continued his studies with scholarship at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Rome, and perfected himself under Italian soprano Mirella Freni. He has won several vocal competitions such as Tito Gobbi Competition (2004) and Plácido Domingo’s Operalia Competition (2007). He made his debut in Cincinnati (USA, 2008) as Don Carlo (La forza del destino). He has also sung in prestigious theatres such as Teatro La Fenice (Venice), Teatro di San Carlo (Naples), Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), as well as in Rome, Seoul, the Savonlinna and Verbier Festivals. He is an ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera, where he has sung, among others, Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Christian (Un ballo in maschera), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Marcello (La bohème), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), Paolo (Simon Boccanegra), Silvio (Pagliacci), Ford (Falstaff), Albert (Werther), Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor).
