Soloist, Soprano
She was born in Catania and studied with Antonio and Massimo Annaloro. She obtained her diploma from the Conservatory Alfredo Casella (Aquila) and continued her studies with Luciano Serafini, Orietta Moscucci, Bruna Baglioni. She was won prizes at the Iris Adami Corradetti, Rocca delle Macie and Ottavio Ziino competitions and the 47th International Competition for Verdian voices (Busseto, 2007). She made her Italian debut in 2009 as Elvira in Ernani in Piacenza, Modena and Ravenna. Her repertoire includes Manon (Manon Lescaut), Mimì (La boheme), Liú (Turandot), Micaëla (Carmen), Leonora (Il trovatore), Alice Ford (Falstaff), Violetta (La traviata), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Tosca, Aida, Donna Leonora (La forza del destino), Desdemona (Otello). She has appeared in many prestigious opera houses such as the Teatro Massimo (Palermo), Teatro La Fenice (Venice), Baltimore Opera House, Sferisterio Opera in Macerata (Italy), Michigan Opera House. In 2012 she sang Aida in Teatro Regio di Parma, followed by her first appearance as Lady Macbeth (Macbeth, Verona Philharmonic Theater, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genoa, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari), and Abigaille (Nabucco) in Sassari (Italy).
