Mariame Clément

Director
She was born in Paris. After studying literature and art history at the École Normale Supérieure, she moved to the USA, then to Berlin, where she worked as an assistant director. She received the third prize at the 2003 European Opera Directing Prize, Wiesbaden. She made her directing debut in 2004 with Il signor Bruschino / Gianni Schicchi (Lausanne Opera). Her credits include La traviata (Bern State Theatre), Il viaggio a Reims (Bern, Oviedo, Tel Aviv), Albert Herring (Lübeck Theatre), La belle Hélène (Opéra National du Rhin), as well as Grétry’s Guillaume Tell (Biel, Switzerland), Francoeur and Rebel’s Pirame et Thisbé (Nantes Opéra). // Last update of the biography: March 2008 - The list of the productions below is complete.
