Born in Crete, he studied at the Sevastopoulio School specializing in theatre lighting. Since 1980 he had been working at the Greek National Opera and from 2007 until his retirement he had been head of electricians and lighting of the theatre. He has worked for the Athens and Epidaurus Festival (Odeon Of Herodes Atticus, Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus), Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls and many theatres in Greece and Cyprus next to such directors, set and costume designers and choreographers as Nikos Petropoulos, Vassilis Nikolaidis, Michalis Polatof, Yannis Metzikof, Panayis Pagoulatos, Sergios Vafiadis etc.
