Soloist, Tenor
Greek tenor, he was born on Zakynthos island. He studied alongside Dionyssis Troussas and Despina Kalafati at the Athens Conservatory (diploma of monody with honors and cash prize, 2006). He continued his studies at the Munich Academy of Music and Theatre (Maria Callas scholarship, 2007) under Daphne Evangelatos. He won 2nd Prize, Audience and Zarzuela Awards at Plácido Domingo’s prestigious Operalia competition. He has sung in leading theatres and concert halls wordwide (Tokyo, Vienna, London, Budapest, Santiago (Chile), Basel, Stuttgart, Osaka, Barcelona, etc) next to famous artists such as José Carreras, Kiri
Te Kanawa, Barbara Fritolli, Bryn Terfel, Roberto Alagna, Angela Gheorghiu, Plácido Domingo, Sonya Yoncheva, Piotr Beczała, Olga Borodina, Neil Schicoff. His repertoire includes some of the major tenor roles such as Mario Kavaradossi (Tosca), Rodolfo (La bohème), Pollione (Norma), Macduff (Macbeth), Ismaele (Nabucco), Don José (Carmen), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Len sky (Eugene Onegin) and Maurizio (Adriana Lecouvreur). // Last update of the biography: November 2018.
