She was born in Athens in 1928 and died in Athens in 1970. She studied at the Hellenic Conservatory under N. Fragkia-Spiliopoulou, graduating in 1953 with honors and first prize. She made her debut in Thessaloniki singing Lucia di Lammermoor (Lucia). She participated as a soloist in concerts with all Symphony Orchestras of Athens and ERT. During 1954-70 she worked as a soloist of GNO, participating in 32 productions and/or revivals. She sang leading soprano roles in 13 operas Gilda (Rigoletto), Musetta (La bohème), Violetta Valéry (La traviata), Carolina (Il matrimonio segreto), Erophile (The mother’s ring), Adina (L'elisir d'amore), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Lucia (Lucia Di Lamermour), Manon (Manon Lescaut), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte) Oscar (Un ballo in maschera). // Last update of the biography: February 2026 - The list of productions below is continually updated.
