Giannis Georgiadis
Musician
He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna (on scholarships from the Austrian government and the Alexander Onassis Foundation). He has appeared in Greece, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Switzerland, USA, Mexico and North Korea, and has collaborated with well-known orchestras such as: London’s Philharmonia Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Israel Sinfonietta Beer-Sheva, Vienna Philharmonic at the Musikverein and Carnegie Hall New York, under the direction of conductors: Miltiadis Karydis, Loukas Karytinos, Alexandros Myrat, Byron Fidetzis, Enrique Bátiz, Félix Carrasco, Alun Francis, Vladimír Válek. His collaborations in performances at international festivals include distinguished Greek and foreign artists, such as: Dimitris Sgouros, Dimitris Toufexis, Alexandros Kapelis, T. Menuhin and C. Hoffman.
