Established Armenian lirico-spinto soprano, her vocal qualities have distinguished her not only as one of the most sought-after interpreters of Verdi and Puccini heroines, but also of French, Russian and Slavic repertoire. She appears regularly at the world’s finest opera houses and festivals such as New York Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona), Teatro Real (Madrid), Royal Opera House (Covent Garden, London), Zurich Opera, Hamburg Opera, etc. Recent season highlights include Manon Lescaut (San Francisco Opera), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly, Lyric Opera of Chicago and ROH, London), Mimì (La bohème, Gran Canaria), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera, Seville), Fedora (in concert, Concertgebouw Amsterdam), Liza (The Queen of Spades), Giorgetta (Il tabarro) and Suor Angelica at La Monnaie, Brussels. She has sung Tosca in San Francisco, Malaga, Bolshoi Theatre (Moscow) and in Wroclaw (Poland).
