
Niki Chaziraki
Soloist, Soprano
She was born in Athens. She holds a degree in German Literature with honors from the University of Athens, as well as a teaching license for German and English languages. She attended courses in singing, guitar and music theory at the Nakas Conservatory, Athens. She is also a graduate of the Soloist and Education Department of the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, while she also had postgraduate studies in opera. She has sung roles such as: Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann], La Fortuna and Attaché (L'incoronazione di Poppea), as well as roles in well-known Venetian operettas by Johann Strauss, such as Adele (Die Fledermaus), Ciboletta (Eine Nacht in Venedig), Violetta (Der lustige Krieg), Pepi Pleininger (Wiener Blut), etc. She gas appeared at the Athens Concert Hall, as well as in numerous concerts in Austria, Germany and Greece. Among others, at the Greek National Opera she starred in the Little Red Riding Hood (GNO Children's Stage, 2012/13), while in the 2014/15 season she sang Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, adapted for children as part of educational programs.
