Upon concluding her main studies in Athens, she trained for three years at the Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome, next to composer, conductor and pianist Alfredo Casella. Thereafter she was taught by pianist and educator Marguerite Long Upon her return to Athens, she performed Manolis Kalomiris's Piano Concerto No. 1, conducted by by Filoktitis Economidis. Over the course of the following years, she gave a series of concerts in Greece and abroad, performing works by Antiochos Evangelatos, Thodorow Karyotakis, Petros Petridis, Menelaos Pallantios and Mikis Theodorakis in their world premieres. She served on the GNO Board of Directors during the years 1974-1980.
