Principal Dancer of the GNO Ballet
She was born in New York and completed Balanchine’s School of American Ballet. She continued her studies at the Fame School of Performing Arts New York, the Royal Academy of Dance London, the Adelphi University and the New York University (on a scholarship). She won the National Award for Arts (USA) on her Martha Graham technique. She appeared with the New York City Ballet, the National Dance Institute, the Adelphi Dance Team and the Eglevsky Ballet (Long Island, USA). She taught at the Greek National School of Dance. She joined the GNO in 1995 and in 2014 advanced to principal dancer, having participated in the ballets: Don Quichote (De Pian / Minkus, 1995-96), Giselle (André-Coralli-Perrot / Adam, 1996-97), Cinderella (Vinogradov / Prokofiev, 1996-97), Zorba (Massin / Theodorakis, 1997-98), Paquita (Hatzis / Minkus, 1997-98), The Cursed Snake [To katarameno fidi] (Massin / Hatzidakis, 1997-98), Pinocchio (Armitage / Melocchi, 1998-99), La bayadére (Petipa / Minkus, 1998-99) etc. She has also danced leading roles in the ballets: La fille mal gardée (Ashton, 2009-10), Swan Lake (Ζanella / Tchaikovsky, 2013-14), Trip to Eternity (Stellatou / Karaindrou, 2012-13), Cinderella [Aschenbrödel] (Ζanella / Johan Strauss, 2014-15), The Nutcracker (Ζanella / Tchaikovsky, 2012-13), Romeo and Juliet (Ζanella / Prokofiev, 2011-12), Eugene Onegin (Mukhamedov / Tchaikovsky, 2008-09) etc. // Last update of the biography: November 2018 - The list of the productions below will be added soon.
