He was born in Thessaloniki. From 1975 he lived in Heidelberg, where he studied and worked until 1991, the last years at the theatre. He returned to Athens, where he has been working as an actor and director ever since. He has collaborated with many theatres in Greece and Germany. He continues to live and work in both countries.
