He was born in Athens, where he studied under Kostas Paschalis and Panagiotis Dimas. He also studied classical guitar under Iakovos Kolanian. He is a graduate of the University of Athens, Department of Theater Studies. He attended seminars by Jose Cura, Ton Koopman, Jeannette Pilou, Roland Dyens, Miltos Logiadis, Anastasia Vareli, etc. He has given recitals and has collaborated as soloist in opera and oratorio productions with: the National Symphonic Orchestra of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), Camerata/Friends of Music Orchestra, Athens State Orchestra, GNO Experimental Stage, National Theater, Athens City Symphony Orchestra, Schlosstheater Celle, Verdi Theater Gorizia, Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Opera, Leipzig Youth Symphony Orchestra, etc. His repertoire includes roles in operas including: The barber of Seville [Il barbiere di Siviglia], Semele, Oresteia by Iannis Xenakis, etc. Since 2009 he has sung at the Greek National Opera such roles as: Goro (Madama Butterfly), The Dancing Master (Ariadne auf Naxos), Tamino and Monostatos (Die zauberflöte), Dancing teacher (Manon Lescaut), Remendado (Carmen), Danieli (I vespri siciliani), Matteo Borsa (Rigoletto) and Athenian (Marathon-Salamis) etc. In addition, he has appeared at the Greek National Opera also as: Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) with the Suitcase Opera, Don Polidoro (La finta semplice) and Conte Eugenio (in Galuppi’s L'amante di tutte) with the Opera Studio, and as Cat (Puss in Boots) in a production for children.
