Lili Kendaka
Set and Costume Designer
Set and costume designer, she was born in Athens, Greece, and lives in Paris, France. She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Nikos Nikolaou and Yannis Moralis. She studied painting techniques at Nicolas Wacker’s workshop, as well as set and costume design at the Teatro alla Scala Academy, Milan. She has designed sets and costumes for numerous theatre and opera productions and has cooperated with many directors such as Lefteris Voyatzis, Yannis Chouvardas, Victor Ardittis, Michail Marmarinos, Lydia Koniordou, Pierre Constant, Vincent Boussarel, Petrika Ionesko, Giuseppe Frigeni and Claudia Stavisky. She has cooperated repeatedly with Yannis Kokkos in productions in France and Greece such as Norma (Opéra national de Paris), Carmen, Tosca and Don Giovanni (Chorégies d’Orange), Hänsel und Gretel (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris), Aeschylus’ Oresteiawith National Theatre of Greece (Epidaurus Festival). // Last update of the biography: October 2017.
