He was born in Thessaloniki. He began his professional career as a dancer in the Aenaon Dance Theater of Daniel Lommel. He has appeared with The Jazz Ballets of Montreal. In the interim, he danced in premieres of classical repertoire with the Classical Ballet Company of Catalonia. He collaborated with Israel’s Bat-Dor Dance Company and the Victor Ullate Ballet, Madrid. Upon his return to Greece in 1991, he performed roles with the theaters Athenaeum (West Side Story, 1996), Rhoes (Burn This, 2000) and the Municipal and Regional Theater of Kalamata (Circle of love, 2006/07). In 1992 he collaborated with Isidoros Sideris for a new start of the dance group Theatrokinisi, for which he choreographed classical repertory and ancient drama works, also dancing leading roles. In 1999 he was awarded the National Dance Award for best dancer. He founded the dance group Rhesus Omikron, and along with Victor Orive choreographed the production Along the Way [Largo el camino] (2000). He also founded the Theater Cube. He starred in Loukia Rikaki’s full feature film Character Incompatibility (Asymfonia charaktiron) and in Lambis Zaroutiadis’ television series Leave (Fevga). He was hired by the GNO in 1991 and up until 2011 he danced in the ballets: Mythiambs (Sideris/Christodoulidis), Pas de trios (Mantafounis/Chopin), Serenade (Virtanen/ Dvořák), Zorba (Massine/Theodorakis, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, 1993), Four Last Songs [Vier letzte Lieder] (van Dantzig/Strauss), Romeo and Juliet (van Dantzig/Prokofiev and Zanella/Prokofiev), Don Quixote (de Pian/Minkus), Paquita (Chatzis/Minkus), Sebastian (de Pian/Menotti), Giselle (Andre/Adam), Pinocchio (Armitage/Melozzi), The Temple Dancer [La bayadère] (Metsis-Pitipa/Minkus), Petrushka (Mantafounis/Stravinsky), The pirate [Le corsaire] (de Pian/Adam), etc. In addition, he danced in the ballet segments in the operas: Nixon in China, Parisian life [La vie parisienne], The godson [O vaftistikos], The Fire [I Fotia] and Carmen, while he choreographed the works Marathon-Salamis and Tango, zero hour [Tango, ora miden].
