Maria Kostraki

Soloist, Soprano
Greek soprano, she was born in Veria. She studied voice with Krisztina Laki at the Richard Strauss Conservatory, Munich, received a singing diploma from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Munich, and attended masterclasses with Renato Bruson. She currently studies at the Würzburg University of Music with Cheryl Studer and regularly attends masterclasses with Dimitra Theodossiou. Her repertory includes Norina (Don Pasquale), Despina (Così fan tutte), Servilia (La clemenza di Tito), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Adina (L’elisir d’amore, Spoleto). As a member of the Nuremberg Opera Workshop (2008/9) she has sung High Priestess (Aida), Countess Stasi (Die Csárdásfürstin), Mimì (La bohème).
