Director
Italian director and play-writer. He studied literature and philosophy (La Sapienza University, Rome). At the age of twenty he started working as an actor in Luigi De Filippo’s professional theatre company. Later he studied direction at the School of Dramatic Arts “Paolo Grassi”, Milan. He has sta ged a lot of theatre productions such as Eve lina San tan gelo’s Il viaggio di Alice (Festival Palermο), Beppe Feno glio’s Soli tu dine (Teatro Sociale “Giorgio Busca” of Alba, Italy), Sha ke speare’s Twelfth Night (Cor tile Pla ta mone, Cata nia). He made his debut in opera staging La voix humaine and Pagliacci (Teatro Ponchielli, Cremona / Circuito Lirico Lombardo, 2009). Since then he has staged, among others, La bohème (Macerata Opera Festival, Teatro Grande di Brescia), Un ballo in maschera (Malmö Opera, Sweden), Rigoletto (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma), Les Dialogues des Carmélites (Teatro Petruzzelli, Bari), Nabucco (Cagliari, Firenze and Sassari).
