He was born in Athens. At the age of ten he began studying the violin at the Athens Conservatory under Spyros Tombras and Dimitris Semsis. He continued his studies on a scholarship under Tatsis Apostolidis, graduating in 1998 with a diploma in violin with honors and 1st prize. He studied advanced theory (1992/95) with Dimitris Minakakis and Orchestra Conducting (2004/06) under conductor and composer Michalis Economou. He studied Law at the University of Athens and worked on a scholarship in the Scientific Service of the Hellenic Parliament (1998). As a violinist he has participated in concerts with the Athens State Orchestra (1993) and gave recitals in many prestigious halls in Glasgow, Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Patras, and others. He was a member, solist and concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of the Athens Conservatory (1989/98). In 1999 he participated in the Chamber Music Orchestra of the 3rd Program of Hellenic Radio. He has repeatedly conducted the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens. He served as collaborator and adviser to the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Athens (2001/02), as well as in state committees. In 2008 he obtained a diploma in Monody and Melodrama with honors and 1st prize by the Acropolis Conservatory/Arts Center , having studied under tenor Zachos Terzakis. He worked with the 3rd Program of ΝΕΡΙΤ (New State Radio and Television). As a tenor he first appeared with the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens (2002). Since then he sang in oratorios, symphony concerts and song festivals. He works with the GNO since 2009. He has appeared in the operas Ariadne on Naxos (Ariadne auf Naxos), The cunning little vixen (Příhody lišky Bystroušky), Beware! The Prince is Messy by Nikos Kypourgos as well as in the educational programs of the GNO.
