Tenor, born in Catania, he started his vocal studies with Domenica Monti. In 2005, he graduated with honours from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan under Giovanna Canetti and Wilma Borelli, as well as receiving guidance of tenor Luciano Pavarotti. He has received numerous prizes in international competitions such as the Riccardo Zandonai and Francesco Maria Martini ones. His recent engagements include Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore, Royal Opera House, London), Alfredo Germon (La traviata, La Fenice, Venice, and Berlin), Rodolfo (Luisa Miller, Monaco), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor, Bari and Oslo), Rodolfo (La bohème, Houston and Sydney), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto, Savonlinna, London, Minorca and Bari), Β. F. Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly, Stuttgart, Vienna), Jacopo Foscari (I due Foscari, Monaco), Ismaele (Nabucco, Parma).
