
Nikos Masourakis
Soloist, Baritone
Greek baritone, he started music theory and singing at the Conservatory of Classical and Modern Music of Maroussi, Athens (diploma of harmony with honours and singing with honours and first prize). He has been an additional member of the Greek National Opera Chorus, while during 2014/16 he has been a member of the Opera Studio of the GNO participating in concerts and productions like Offenbach’s Orphée
aux Enfers. Moreover, he has sung Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro, Teatrul de Artă Deva, Romania) and has participated at the Music Ensembles of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation as a chorister and soloist (Ermioni Festival, July 2018). He has attended seminars with Marina Krilovici and Dimitri Kavrakos. He particiated at the Aegean Festival (2019) singing Perückenmacher (Ariadne auf Naxos) and Belcore (L’elisir d’amore). He still studies with baritone Tassis Christoyannis. He has also studied Byzantine music (diploma, Diapason Conservatory, Athens) and he is a graduate of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration (NTUA).
