Lighting designer
He studied set design at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. He worked as lighting designer in some of the most important theatres around the world including the Sydney Opera House with Giancarlo del Monaco for Luisa Miller, NCPA of Beijing with Giancarlo del Monaco for L’italiana in Algeri, Royal Opera House (Covent Garden, London) for the famous ballet L’Histoire de Manon of Kenneth McMillan, Teatro di San Carlo of Naples with Fabio Sparvoli for Les Pêcheurs de perles, the New Mariinsky Theatre (with Shen Wei), Royal Opera House Muscat with Caracalla Dance Theatre, Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse with Nicolas Joël. He has worked with such set designers as Ezio Frigerio for many opera and ballet productions at the Astana Opera (Kazakhstan).
