He was born in Brazil in 1965 and grew up in Herakleion, Crete. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Biology. He studied opera singing with Frangiskos Voutsinos, composition and improvisation with Markos Alexiou and drama with Dimitris Kataleifos. In 1999 he received his diploma in opera singing with honors and won first prize. He then continued his studies with Olivera Miljiakovic in Vienna and M. Protti in Cremona. He sang in Mikis Theodorakis’ opera Lysistrata at the Athens Concert Hall (2002) and he also sang with the Opera of Thessaloniki in the productions of Gianni Schicchi and in The bat [Die fledermaus] (2007). He also participated in Sakellaridis' operetta The daughter of the storm [I kori tis kataigidos], at the Athens Festival. He has also sang many works of Greek and foreign composers in various cities in Greece. At the GNO he made his debut as a soloist John Gay's The beggar’s opera (1996/96) and up untill 2015 he sang leading ands supporting roles in many operas, such as: Peter Grimes, La bohème, Don Giovanni, Carmen, Il cappello di paglia di Firenze, Tristan und Isolde and more. He sang in the world premiere of Giorgos Koumendakis opera The Murderess (Athens Concert Hall, (2015/15). Among others, he has also sang in the operettas The Cretan Girl, Die lustige Witwe, The Apaches of Athens, The Love Virus, Remember those years, as well as in the productions of GNO's Childrens Theater The Magic Violin (Xanthoulis), The Barber of Seville (adaptation), Little Red Riding Hood (Barab) and, in Nikos Kypourgos’ Attention!
