Yannis Selitsaniotis

Soloist, Baritone
Greek baritone, he was born in Athens. He studied voice with Efi Adilini-Bobi at the Hellenic Conservatory, Athens (diploma, 2007). He continued his studies in Germany with Carol Richardson-Smith and Jeff Smith. He attended courses with Italian baritone Gianni Maffeo and soprano Fotini Kostopoulos. At the Greek National Opera he has sung in Cui’s Puss in Boots, Carmencitas and Il barbiere di Siviglia (“Interactive Opera for Primary Schools”) and in such operas as La bohème, Madama Butterfly, Carmen and Il barbiere di Siviglia. Moreover, he participated as Escamillo (Carmen) and Tonio (Pagliacci) (GNO Artistic Events, “The Suitcase Opera”). Moreover, he sung Tahir and Ignatios in Frosyni by Pavlos Carrer (Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall, Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop) and participated at the Chorus and as Kydoimos in Aristophanes’ Peace at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (National Theatre, Athens, music by Nikos Kypourgos, 2017). // Last update: March 2019 - The list of productions below is continually updated.
