Russian tenor, since 2007 he has been a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, where he has performed a wide range of operatic and symphonic repertoire: from works by Donizetti, Puccini, Verdi, Borodin, Mussorgsky, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky to Berlioz, Offenbach, Janáček and Szymanowski. He has sung in leading theatres and festivals, as well as in prestigious concert halls worldwide. Moreover, he has worked with well known directors, conductors and orchestras. His repertoire includes all
the emblematic tenor roles such as Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Alfredo Germont (La traviata), Rodolfo (La bohème), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Hoffmann (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Vladimir Igorevich (Prince Igor), etc. His discography includes Stravinsky’s Oedipus rex, Berlioz’s Requiem, Wagner’s Das Rheingold and Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 (Mariinsky Label).
