Dancer
She is a dance professor with a degree from the Higher Vocational School "Niki Kontaxaki." For several years, she was a leading dancer in the Kontaxaki company. She has successfully taken part in international ballet competitions, including the one at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and the one in Varna, Bulgaria. She has received diplomas in the English method of the Royal Academy of Dance and attended seminars in London on a scholarship. Her collaboration with the GNO began in 1994. In 1999, she became a permanent member of the GNO Ballet, in 2003 she advanced to Coryphée and in 2004 to Prima Ballerina. During the years 1994-2004, she danced in over 15 ballet productions and ballet interludes in several opera productions. She has danced in the following ballets: La Bayadère, The Swan lake, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Zorba, Paquita, Pinnochio, The Encursed Serpent [To katarameno fidi], The Corsair [Le corsaire], etc. Some of the works including ballet segments, in which she has performed, are: Bastien und Bastienne [Bastien und Bastienne], Cinderella [La Cenerentola], Kiss me, Kate, etc.
