Timos Sirlantzis

Solist, Bass-Baritone
Greek bass-baritone, he was born in Thessaloniki. He studied singing at the Municipal Conservatory of Drama with Haroula Glavopoulou and continued postgraduate studies in opera with baritone Teru Yoshihara at the University of Music and Performing Arts of Stuttgart (Onassis Foundation scholarship). He has attended seminars with Aris Christofellis and has studied piano and violin. Moreover, Sirlantzis has participated in numerous productions in Greece and abroad in such roles as Calchas (La belle Hélène, OLVIO Theatre, Athens), Officer (Philip Glass’ In the Penal Colony, Onassis Cultural Centre, Armonia Atenea-The Friends of Music Orchestra), Speaker of the Temple (Die Zauberflöte, Greek National Opera), Don Alfonso(Così fan tutte, Daegu Opera House, South Korea),Masetto (Don Giovanni, Gärtnerplatz State Theatre, Munich), Colline (La bohème, Balingen Stadthalle, Germany), as well as Donna Agata (Donizetti’s Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali) and Sparafucile (Rigoletto) at Wilhelma Theater, Stuttgart.His repertoire includes concert works and oratorios with numerous collaborations in Greece and abroad. // Last update of the biography: April 2018.
