She was born in 1980. She holds a diploma in dance teaching (Rallou Manou Higher Professional Dance School), as well as a diploma in piano and music theory (Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue). During the 1998/99 season she danced at the GNO in a ballet excerpt in the opera The tales of Hoffmann [Les contes d’Hoffmann]. From 2003 to 2011 she was recruited by the GNO Department of Research and Archiving to work in research and documentation. She is the daughter of tenor George Stafetas.
