Dancer
She was born in Athens and studied at the ballet schools of Roula Papadimitriou and Yiannis Metsis. She completed her studies at the John Neumeier School of the Hamburg Ballet. She has danced with the Athens Experimental Ballet and the Rena Kambaladou Greek Ballet companies. She has performed several lead roles in the ballets: Raymonda, The Snow Queen, Canto General, Coppelia, and The Nutcracker. She worked with choreographers such as Lorca Massine, Harris Mantafounis, Rudi van Dantzig, Leonidas de Pian, Yiannis Metsis, Germinal Casado and Renato Zanella. She joined the GNO Ballet in 1995 as a soloist, and has been a principal dancer since 1997. Since then, she danced in more than 40 productions and/or revivals, including: Giselle (Andre-Coaralli-Perrot/Adam), Zorba (Massine/Theodorakis), Petrushka (Mantafounis/Stravinsky), Paquita, Memories, The birds (Armitage/Hatjidakis), La Cenerentola (Vinogradov/Prokofiev and Zanella/Prokofiev), The snow queen (Barra/Glazunov), The Wayward Daughter [La fille mal gardée] (Ashton), The sleeping beauty (Zelensky-Petipa/Tchaikovsky), The damned snake [To katarameno fidi] (Massine/Hatjidakis), Don Quixote (Zelensky/Minkus), Sebastian, The pirate [Le corsaire], Pinocchio (Armitage/Melozzi), The temple dancer [La bayadère], Variations in white [Parallages se lefko], Pas de quatre, Pas de deux, Swan lake (Zanella/Tchaikovsky), The nutcracker (Zanella/Tchaikovsky), Romeo and Juliet (Zanella/Prokofiev), Alles Walzer (Zanella/Johann and Josef Strauss-Mahler) etc. She has also danced in ballet segments in the operas The Godson [O vaftistikos], The Bat [Die Fledermaus], etc.
