Βritish tenor, he studied furniture design at Loughborough University. He began his singing studies whilst working in New Zealand and continued in London and Milan. He has performed in prestigious theatres throughout the UK as well as in Turin, Naples, Cagliari, Palermo, Bologna, Venice, Frankfurt, Verona, San Francisco, Washington, Los Angeles, Madrid, Barcelona, in such productions as Tosca, La bohème, Il trovatore, Kàt’α Kabanovà, Jenu°fa, Vec Makropulos, Carmen, Ma dama Butterfly, Turandot, La fanciulla del West, Otello, Fidelio, Tannhäuser, Götterdämmerung, Parsifal, Samson et Dalila, The Queen of Spades, Les Troyens. He debuted as Erik (Der fliegende Holländer) at La Scala, Milan, and sang Tristan (Tristan und Isolde) at La Scala (Milan), Zurich, Deutsche Oper and Staatsoper Berlin, Barcelona, Genova, Bregenz, Oslo, Bilbao, Düsseldorf.
