He trained at London’s Wimbledon School of Art‚ and is recognised as one of the leading stage designers of his generation. He was honoured by Liverpool Institute of the Performing Arts with an honorary Doctorate, and was shortlisted for Best Designer at the 2022 International Opera Awards.
