Dancer
She has worked for more than 25 years in the classical dance field as dancer and teacher. Through her participation in Rene Kammer’s Athens Ballet and Sofia Smailou’s Nafsika Dance Theater, she danced in many festivals in Greece (Delphi, Lycabettus Festival) and abroad, (Cyprus, Mérida in Spain etc). In 1990 she moved to Paris for one year and took dance lessons under renowned teachers. In 1991 she joined the GNO and in 1994 became principal dancer. Following her 1997 performance in the ballet Cinderella [La cenerentola] (Vinogradov/Prokofiev), she earned a place among GNO’s soloists. She is Artistic Director and teaches personal Ballet-Repertoire-Pointe lessons with the Chorotechno school of dance. During the period 1991-2007 she danced with the GNO in more than 20 productions and revivals of works - ballets and ballet segments in operas and operettas: Pinocchio (Armitage/Melozzi), Giselle (Mukhamedov/Adam), The Cursed Serpent (Massin/Hatzidakis), La bayadére (Petipa/Minkus), The Pirate [Le Corsaire] (De Pian-Petipa/Adam), Don Quixote (Vasiliev/Minkus), Paquita (Hatzis/Minkus), Parisian life [La vie parisienne], (Virtanen/Offenbach), Sebastian (Menotti/De Pian), Romeo and Juliet (Van Dantzig/Prokofiev-Herodeion, Gianella/Prokofiev-Athens Concert Hall), Four Last Songs [Vier letzte Lieder] (Van Dantzig/Strauss), The Nutcracker (Lacotte/Tchaikovsky), Everyone Waltz! [Alles Walzer] (Gianella/Strauss) etc. She also dances inballet segments in operas and operettas such as The Bat Die Fledermaus], Adriana Lecouvreur, The Godson, Faust etc.
