Romanian baritone, he studied in Bucharest and Washington and made his debut as Schaunard (La bohème) at the National Opera of Cluj-Napoca (1990). He sings in theatres in Romania - very often at the Bucharest National Opera - but also in Europe, the USA, Japan, China and South Korea. He has sung roles such as Giorgio Germont (La traviata), Escamillo (Carmen), Sharpless and The Bonze (Madama Butterfly), Schaunard (La bohème), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Iago (Otello), Telramund (Lohengrin), Dr. Dulcamara (L'elisir d'amore), Lindorf - Coppélius - Dapertutto - Dr. Miracle (Les contes d'Hoffmann).
