Romanian baritone, he studied in Bucharest and Washington and made his debut as Schaunard (La bohème) at the National Opera of Cluj-Napoca (1990). He sings in theatres in Romania - very often at the Bucharest National Opera - but also in Europe, the USA, Japan, China and South Korea. He has sung roles such as Giorgio Germont (La traviata), Escamillo (Carmen), Sharpless and The Bonze (Madama Butterfly), Schaunard (La bohème), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Iago (Otello), Telramund (Lohengrin), Dr. Dulcamara (L'elisir d'amore), Lindorf - Coppélius - Dapertutto - Dr. Miracle (Les contes d'Hoffmann). He has also performed works such as Carmina Burana, Haydn's The Creation, Verdi’s and Mozart’s Requiems, Bruckner's Te Deum, Oedipus the Tyrant, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Belshazzar's Feast, Christ on the Mount of Olives, etc. He has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Romania, Timisoara Symphony Orchestra, New England Symphony Orchestra, Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Washington Chamber Orchestra, National Radio Orchestra of Romania and Berlin Symphony Orchestra. // Last update of the biography: January 2017 – The list of the productions below is complete.
